Erlewine is also a world-famous astrologer, the first person to ever program astrology on home computers and share those programs with other astrologers. The author of some 60 books on astrology and related topics, including hundreds of articles.

Michael Erlewine is also co-director of the Heart Center KTC, a Tibetan Buddhist meditation center of the Karma Kagyu Lineage, in operation for over forty years.
Music Career
Early on, Erlewine hitchhiked with Bob Dylan, opened for Cream at the Fillmore Auditorium in 1967, the “Summer of Love,” played with Jerry Garcia, and many other gigs.
